Inauguración del proyecto de reforma del Maremagnum, obra de L35

El próximo miércoles 25 de abril a las 20h se inaugura en Barcelona el nuevo espacio gastronómico del Centro Comercial Maremagnum. El proyecto, a cargo del estudio de arquitectura L35, redefine el concepto de ocio de la segunda planta del centro.

Situado en el Port Vell de Barcelona, el Centro Comercial y de Ocio Maremagnum, propiedad de Corio Real Estate, inaugura su nuevo espacio dedicado a la restauración. El objetivo de esta reforma es logar la integración efectiva de la segunda planta del centro con el resto del edificio, del que históricamente ha estado separada.

El rediseño de esta zona potencia el emplazamiento excepcional del edificio mediante un patio-terraza-mirador cubierto por una marquesina perimetral ligera y transparente bajo la que se sitúan los diferentes restaurantes. Según el arquitecto de L35 Eduardo Simarro: ?En este proyecto hemos abierto los espacios para lograr una mayor integración visual y funcional del complejo. La remodelación consigue optimizar este espacio y homogeneizar el conjunto del edificio?.

Hoy en día, este centro comercial recibe más de 13 millones de visitantes al año y es el único de Barcelona con permiso de apertura 365 días al año. El nuevo espacio diseñado por L35 dispone de 4.000 metros cuadrados dedicados a la restauración con una amplia plaza central al aire libre y terrazas con vistas al mar, al puerto y a la ciudad.
